The Foxboro 870IT intelligent
two-wire transmitter shares many of the 875's advantages. It's become an industry standard
with the same balance of built-in capabilities, such as advanced sensor diagnostics, with
ease of use, including self-prompting menu trees and PC-based configuration.
The 870IT is loop-powered, yielding
lower wiring costs. Also, this transmitter is intrinsically safe, certified for Class I,
Division 1 areas.
