The TS-110 is a self-powered electronic governor. A 9V
battery provides enough power to the integral I/P converter to initially
open the steam control valve. Once the turbine is running, the speed
probes provide speed measurement and enough voltage to continue powering
the TS-110. The TS-110 allows for replacement of hydro-mechanical
governors on remote location steam turbines where external power may not
be readily available. Major features of the TS-110 include:
-
Self powered (no external operating power required)
-
Integral I/P converter to interface with a pneumatic
positioner
-
Isochronous and droop speed control
-
Electronic overspeed function
-
Digital tachometer speed readout
-
Local and remote shutdown
-
Local speed setpoint
-
4 -20 mA or 3-15 psig remote speed setpoint options
-
Broader speed control range than any mechanical
governor
-
Backup unit auto-start
-
Standard NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure
