Course 3000 - Process MRA Functions and Concepts

Prerequisite

Working knowledge of personal computers

Previous experience with online analytical instruments

Who Should Attend

Personnel responsible for operation, calibration, configuration, and maintenance of the Process MRA system. This course will provide a solid foundation, and refine the knowledge of more experienced personnel.

Description

This hands on course will serve as your introduction to the Process MRA technology, functions, concepts, hardware and software. Through classroom instruction and lab exercises you will learn to operate, calibrate, configure, and maintain the major elements that define how the MRA system will function.

Objectives

  • Define Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Analysis technique
  • Provide System overview, including:

    • Switching Control Unit
    • Shim Control
    • Power Supply and I/O Unit

  • Demonstrate Software functions and architecture, including:
    • Process NMR MPSS
      • Hardware control including
      • Mathematical software functions

      • DCS interfacing and alarming
      • NMR Analysis
      • Lock functions
      • Shimming
    • NMR Log browser
      • Error checking and decoding
    • Heater diagnostics
    • PC Anywhere
      • Host operation
      • Remote control operation
  • Conduct and specify Routine Maintenance
